The IKEA delivery service doesn’t currently reflect the brand customer focus: it lets users down in many ways.
I wanted to create an exciting user journey that would give users real time updates on the progress of their delivery and improve customers' experience of IKEA's delivery service. Using responsive design, the plan is to increase customer satisfaction and, in turn, brand loyalty by showing customers that the world of IKEA is a fun as they hoped.
Creating characters based on IKEA staff and putting them into a fictional world makes the whole process simpler and more fun for the user as they are able to do more than just check whether their package is being processed or out for delivery.
